I'M ANGERED BY THE STUPID VOTERS. I understand that we need Worker's Party to be our voice in parliament, but WHY ALJUNIED D:
George Yeo has served in aljunied for the past 23 years.
He's dedicated so much for the people and this is how we repay him >:/

Aljunied voters have decided and I respect their decision. Having committed 23 years of service to the residents, it is only natural for me to feel disappointed but this is politics.

It has been my privilege to have served them all these years and they have enriched my life. They have also enabled me to serve in various capacities as a Cabinet Minister in MITA, Health, MTI and MFA for which I am grateful.

And he's no longer going to run in the elections anymore.

It's damn freaking sad, losing him as a member of parliament will be a great loss to Singapore.

You can see how sad he truly is, how defeated he looks. 23 years. This makes me dislike Worker's Party even more.
hahahah. I♥GEORGEYEO. He's dedicated so much for the residents and Singapore. :')

Okay, her answer was downright stupid and alot of people take this as a reflection of her intellectual ability. But, what kinda question is that? How does one who grew up in a comfortable environment with loving parents answer to that?
Sure, she could've came up with some long politically correct answer that we hear from practically everyone who's involved in politics. But, at least she was truthful and her character really shows.
And stop digging up things from her past, I mean if I randomly looked at someone's facebook photos, there would surely be something that can be blown way out of proportion by the public.
Plus the "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY" thing was before she even ran for anyhthing, she was in the young pap crap at that time.

so yes, just stop slamming her. she has served in young pap for a really long time before all these. She may have got in because of her husband, but without true ability and working on the ground - interacting with people, would she really even be where she is now? You can tell that really does want to serve the people and improve their quality of life.

but based on experience, i tend to screw such things up, so I shall wait till it's on the brink of dying or when I'm sick of it.
